While not every single individual who achieves one of these goals is “special” in every sense, these accomplishments are undoubtedly rare and demonstrate exceptional abilities, qualities, and strengths that the average person has to work to develop, therefore achievement of any 3 of these represents undeniable achievement well beyond what most humans have proven themselves capable of achieving, and thus warrants a “special” designation. In COTOG the path is to achieve 3xOG or greater status which represents a life that adds to the positive energy of the Universe and enriches the human experience by extension.
A follower of COTOG is someone who believes in the importance of human values and ethics, uses reason, feels compassion, and believes in his or her ability to lead a fulfilling life without reliance on supernatural beliefs. COTOG practitioners focus on human welfare and the potential for individuals to shape their own lives and society.
Anyone can change, it just requires some effort. EARN your stripes, live COTOG.
Manifesto of "The 3 Principles" of The Church of the OG (COTOG).
I am a Person of Purpose and Progress. I declare my commitment to the following guiding principles:
-
I Am Responsible for Myself.
I am the architect of my own reality. In this life, my actions, my thoughts, and my destiny are under my control. No one can dictate my worth, nor can anyone shift the Light of my decisions onto someone else. I reject the notion of a passive existence or blame-shifting.
The circumstances I was born into and the things that have happened to me do not define me; my responses to them do. No one is coming to save me, and no one is going to fix my life but me. I own it. Every challenge, every success, every failure is mine to shape.
"Pledge Of The OG": I stand accountable to myself, and by doing so, I will elevate every aspect of my life.
-
I Must Only Associate with People I Want to Be Like in the Future.
I am the sum of the people I surround myself with. The conversations I partake in, the habits I observe, and the energy I consume will all influence my trajectory. I will remember “The Rule Of Gs”: Gold In, Gold Out - Garbage In, Garbage Out.
I must not waste time on relationships that drain my energy, undermine my potential, or lead me astray from my higher purpose. I seek to connect with those who inspire me, challenge me, and push me toward the best version of myself. I seek out individuals who embody the qualities, discipline, and mindset I wish to cultivate in my own life. While I do not force interactions with these inspirations, I can learn and mimic their useful behaviors if they will help me on my journey toward happiness and contentment.
My future self is being shaped today by the people I let into my life. If I desire success, ambition, and wisdom, then I must build a community of individuals who carry those same values. My growth depends largely on the company I keep.
-
If It Don’t Make Dollars, It Don’t Make Sense.
I live in a world that demands value. Action without purpose is wasted potential. Time is the most precious resource, and if my efforts do not yield tangible results, then I am simply spinning my wheels. My every pursuit must be aligned with growth, productivity, or return on investment, whether that return is financial, intellectual, or spiritual.
I value hard work, but not the kind that feeds into cycles of endless toil without reward. I believe in efficiency and in making smart decisions. If my endeavors are not producing a return, then I must reassess and pivot.
The world moves with capital, ideas, and momentum. To not understand this reality is to stay stagnant in a place where opportunity passes me by. I must pursue ventures that empower me and position me for greatness. Whether it's in business, relationships, or personal development, if it doesn’t lead to progress, it’s time to move on.
In Conclusion:
My path to greatness is clear: own my actions, build my tribe, and make sure every move I make leads to tangible results. This is my manifesto for living a life of power, purpose, and progress. Let this be my declaration of independence. The time for mediocrity has passed. The time for greatness is now. TRIPLE OG STATUS IS MY GOAL. This is my code and this is my life.

The Term OG (Original Gangster):
The term “Original Gangster” or OG is also associated with underworld individuals and activities. This is not the same thing and in no way relates to that definition. The reasons why people who can achieve 3xOG status in COTOG via the 6 ways are proven special, are as follows:
- Survive the Hood to age 18 with ZERO criminal record
- Difficulty: Extremely high.
- Why: Growing up in disadvantaged areas often called "the hood", presents many challenges, including exposure to violence, drugs, and peer pressure, not to mention systemic issues like poverty and inadequate education. The odds are stacked against many young people in these environments. Maintaining a clean criminal record in such circumstances requires immense self-discipline, resilience, and often a strong support system, which isn’t always available.
- Are they special? Yes, in a way. Anyone who can navigate these challenges without falling into the traps that surround them possesses exceptional fortitude, adaptability, and strength of character.
- Survive more than 24 months of Military or Civil Service with ZERO negative or criminal record and positive separation
- Difficulty: High.
- Why: Military or civil service is demanding and stressful. Being of service to the masses is often physically, mentally, and emotionally hard. It requires discipline, sacrifice, and the ability to work under intense pressure. Serving without any negative or criminal records and obtaining an honorable discharge takes perseverance. In high-stress environments like these, some people may face temptations or pressures that lead to poor decisions. However, sticking it out successfully while maintaining a clean record is an accomplishment.
- Are they special? Yes. Being able to thrive in such a structured, high-stress environment and leave with a positive record is an indication of strong self-regulation, integrity, and perseverance.
- Live-In Parent a child or children full time to the age of 21 wherein that child or children graduate high school and maintain no criminal record to the age of 23
- Difficulty: High to very high.
- Why: Being a full-time parent, especially without external support or resources, is a monumental task. Ensuring that children not only graduate high school but also stay out of trouble until the age of 23 while navigating personal challenges, societal pressures, and potential financial instability is exceptionally hard. Parenting is often undervalued in society, but it is undoubtedly one of the toughest jobs that requires constant emotional and physical labor.
- Are they special? Yes. Successfully parenting children through their formative years without them falling into criminal behavior or dropping out of school is a remarkable feat, especially in environments where resources are limited. This shows that a person is an example to be modeled and that their children have modeled good behavior.
- Earn A Legal Salary of over $120,000 USD per year for more than 24 months without selling weapons, pharmaceuticals, or oil
- Difficulty: Moderate to high (depending on industry and individual circumstances).
- Why: Earning a high salary is often associated with certain career paths—medicine, law, tech, finance, etc. While $120,000 is a significant amount, it's attainable for professionals with the right skills, education, and experience. That said, it may be harder for people without access to resources like a college education or networks in high paying industries. Achieving this level of success requires significant expertise, hard work, and often a high level of competition.
- Are they special? Moderately. While not exceedingly rare, those who can reach this level of income consistently (without resorting to illicit activities) tend to be ambitious, highly skilled, and driven.
- Run a legal For-Profit Business that generates over $1 Million Dollars in yearly revenue
- Difficulty: Very high.
- Why: Running a business that generates this level of revenue requires excellent leadership, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and strong operational skills. Moreover, it’s challenging to do this without any government aid or corporate welfare, which eliminates certain advantages. Many businesses fail before reaching this stage, and the pressure is immense. The ability to grow and sustain such a business shows deep financial acumen, a high tolerance for risk, and exceptional organizational and strategic skills.
- Are they special? Yes. Only a small percentage of people can reach this milestone, particularly without relying on outside financial support. Entrepreneurs who achieve this have vision, determination, and the capacity to handle immense complexity.
- Win a world championship in any officially sanctioned international sporting event
- Difficulty: Extremely high.
- Why: The level of competition at the world championship level, such as the Olympics or the World Cup, is incredibly intense. Athletes must possess an extraordinary combination of natural talent, years of dedicated training, mental toughness, and often, the ability to sacrifice a normal life in favor of rigorous schedules. The odds of making it to this level are slim, and even slimmer to win.
- Are they special? Yes, undoubtedly. Winning at this level demands almost superhuman dedication, discipline, and performance. These athletes represent the pinnacle of human ability in their respective sports
